Policies on Deposits and Payments.
In order for me to hold sugar gliders for anyone, I do require half down of the total value of the gliders that you wish to buy. The remainder balance, as well as shipping fees or items you wish out of my store, are due one week prior to the agreed ship date, or on the date you get them if you live local and I am either delivering, or you are coming to get them from my home. The initial deposit is non-refundable, if you decide to cancel the sale. Once the deposit is obtained, the gliders are held for you and no one else may place a deposit on them. Please make sure that the gliders you place a deposit on are the gliders that you want. There is a lot of work placing ads on all the various sites that I do. When you place the deposit, I am holding the animals for you and no other. If you want to switch a glider out, it can mean hours of work for me having to re-do ads and there are other behind the scene problems that can crop up when people want to make changes. If you ask me to switch a glider, I will keep the deposit for the original glider that you have a deposit on, and you will have to place a brand new deposit on the animal you want to switch it out with. There are no exchanges.
If the buyer cancels the sale, the seller keeps 50% of the deposit. If full amount is paid, then seller will put the gliders back up for sale and refund the rest of the money, once another home is obtained for the animals.
It will be expected that the gliders will go to their homes within 2 weeks after your youngest glider is ready to leave. If I have to care for them past this time, I do have a boarding fee of $25 per week, per pair. Unless arrangements have been made with me prior to purchase, or we are in the middle of an airline embargo.
I offer a general 14 day guarantee on health from the time they come to your home. You may be asked to bring them to the vet for analysis. If the animal passes, then you will be asked to have the vet perform a necropsy. If it’s determined that it was the fault of the breeder, then I will not only replace the animal, but I will pay for your vet exam as well. I can’t replace or pay for your bill if it was something that was not my fault, including an accident. After 14 days, the animals will have a lifetime guarantee against genetic defects. I breed pair that have full lineage and are not closely related. If an animal passes, you will be required to have a necropsy done by a vet to find out if genetics were the reason for the cause of death.
All guarantees will be null and void, if you feed a diet other than the ones that I recommend.
Pricing on my pet only gliders are already greatly discounted against what a breeder may pay for these animals. I am also paying for the neuters on all the pet only males, so I do not discount the gliders as pets any lower. I can offer discounts to those purchasing breeding animals based on original asking price, and if more than one animal is being purchased at one time. I can also offer a bi-weekly or monthly payment plan to breeders whose sales are over a certain amount, with a reasonable down-payment. The down-payment and payments will be based upon total price of the gliders, as well as shipping or delivery fees.
Payments can be made with MasterCard, Visa or Discover or Paypal. If you place the order through my site, then it is directly to PayPal. If you want me to invoice you through my bank, all you need to give me is your email, and my bank will assist in asking the questions and processing your card, so I don’t even need to see your information. If you are local and wish to pay your final balance when we meet, I do accept cash and I have a credit card swiper for my phone as well. It accepts all major debit and credit cards.
I do not accept checks or money orders for the sugar gliders.
Final payment for gliders being shipped with pet transport, will need to be collected least a week prior to ship date. I need to pay in advance for your slot on the trips, as well as the health certificates.
I can deliver sugar gliders as far as Phoenix, Las Vegas or Flagstaff for a flat fee of $150. If I must ship, you will be expected to pay for all expenses incurred getting them to you. I can give you a shipping quote if you tell me the city and state where you live. That way I can locate your closest cargo office and know which airline that I can use. There is never a fee if you wish to travel to my home in Lake Havasu City to pick up. ****I am not currently traveling during COVID for my own health reasons, so I am not doing local deliveries myself at this time.
I do work weekdays, so most all of the shipping or deliveries will be done on weekends, expect in special cases. Pick-ups can be scheduled on the weekends, or if during the week, evenings are preferred.
In regards to returns on the items in my store, such as food, toys, supplies and other merchandise. There are no exchanges or refunds on food items of any kind. If you wish to return anything else from the store, I must be contacted within 24 hours of delivery. There is a 20% re-stock fee on all returned, non-perishable items, and you must pay return postage. I will need to have a tracking number for the items. Once they have arrived here, I will gladly refund the portion of the monies owed.
