Wombaroo Joey Rejection

This joey rejection kit is a must have on hand for all breeders, hobby breeders and rescues.  Anyone who at anytime, breeds sugar gliders.  It’s not a matter of “IF” it will happen, but “WHEN”.  Never be caught unprepared.

The products in this kits are all made by the Wombaroo Company in Barker Australia.

Kit Contains:

Wombaroo Possum Milk Replacer 160 grams

Wombaroo Shake N Make Nectar 4 oz

Wombaroo Impact Colostrum Supplement 25 g.

NeoMed 20 ml feeding syringe

Here is the recipe:

2 Tablespoons Wombaroo Milk Replacer

2 Tablespoons Warm, Distilled Water

1/4 Teaspoons Impact Colostrum Supplement

1 Tablespoon Wombaroo Shake-n-make Nectar

Mix all 4 ingredients, until a paste forms.

Then add and mix until smooth:

an additional 2 Tablespoons warm Distilled Water.

Please keep refrigerated.  Your mixture will last about 2 days in the refrigerator, so only make what you need.

Feeding Reference for one joey (this does mean around the clock.  If you miss just one feeding, it can mean life or death for the joey):

Age                                                                Amount to feed

0-2 weeks out of pouch                                 0.3-0.5 cc’s every 1-2 hours

2-4 weeks out of pouch                                 0.5-1.0 cc’s every 2-3 hours

4-6 weeks out of pouch                                 1.0-2.0 cc’s every 3-4 hours

6-8 weeks out of pouch                                 2.0-4.0 cc’s every 4-6 hours

Keep a digital scale handy to weigh your joey.  Joeys can gain about 5 grams per week.
